Bluetree Dental was founded in Reno by Dr. Brent Corbridge, an orthodontist practicing at Orthodontic Partners. He had watched enough colleagues sell to corporate DSOs and lose the clinical culture they'd built. He thought there was a better way to grow together.
The premise was simple: the doctors who run the practices should own the group that supports them. Not investors. Not consultants. Doctors. Every partnership since then has been invited, negotiated, and welcomed as a partner, not acquired.
Today Bluetree spans 45+ practices across Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California. Our doctor-partners practice general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental anesthesia. Every specialty. Every setting. All under the same doctor-led model.
In 2023, we welcomed Clairvest as a minority private equity partner to help fund continued growth. The doctors remain the majority owners. The doctors still set the direction. That's the part that will not change.
